Pick a hatch in secret. A hatch with one person opens. A hatch with a crowd jams.
Three counts. Each one shows its number for three seconds, then goes dark. Stop it at zero. Your misses add up, and the biggest total is stuck with it.
Five buzzers. Wait for each one, then sit. Fastest gets the chair. Jump early and it costs you a second. Slowest over five is stuck with it.
Pair off. Both hands in, then the count, then the throw. Win your match and you are out. Losers pair up again until two are left, and the final is first to two.
